How to Dual Boot Operating Systems

Hi thinking whether or not I should get Vista just for the looks (which yes i Understand is lame, but hey... oh well ).

anyways how do i dual boot windows xp and windows vista? Do i simply just install each operating system into their own partition in hard drive one and it should be okay?

Thanks, plus i also plan on getting a second hard drive, where all my data will be installed. So core applications and operating systems will be loaded on disk 1.

No need to dual boot. Just download the software that gives your computer a Vista like interface, i.e a look like Vista. But your original version of Windows will not be changed, it will work in the same way.
