U.S. POSTCARDS

Not to be outdone, the National Trust for Historic Preservation at the University of Maryland has collected more than 18,500 postcards, "the majority originating from 3,185 identified locations in the United States and dating from the period 1900 to 1920," according to the site. The collection includes cards from all 50 states as well as more than 20 foreign countries.
